Ogascanan Lake

Ogascanan lake is in the Kipawa ZEC.( Controlled exploitation Zone).

13 km. long and up to 6 km wide in some places.

Great fishing for walleye, lake trout and northern pike.

In 2010 we opened a new access to lake Ogascanan from lake Lescot.

As of 2011, Club Trout Lake is in a position to offer a package from its Ross lake cottage to this newly opened territory.

Three factors have contributed to maintaining the fishing potential of Ogaskanan. First, there is very limited access to the lake, its size and varied depth, and the application of quotas by Kipawa ZEC since 1990.

The northern part of the lake, called Taylor Bay, is shallower and home to various sizes of Walleye and Northern Pike.

The central and southern sectors of Ogaskanan have some shallow bays, but also deep waters, so you can fish for Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout on this lake.
